Teton County, MT Message Board

(1896) Choteau in the Lead. It heads the list with 10 secret organizations.
We challenge any town of the size, shape, complexion or population of Choteau in this or any other land to show as many and prosperous secret orders as can be found in this place. The organization of the Good "Templar Lodge" this week swells the grand total to ten, a list of which follows, together with the officers of same:

The Good Templars were organized this week with 101 charter members, be sides the Junior Templars. The place or time of meeting has not yet been decided upon but they will probably occupy the K.P. hall and meet Wednesday evenings.

Regular meetings are not being held at present but the charter of the lodge is still held and regular convocations will begin again in the spring. The Knights of Labor occupy the K.P. hall and meet twice a month.
